Review- Total Surrender by Rebecca Zanetti

Summary-

A fight he must win...

Piper Oliver knows she can't trust him. They warned her that the tall, dark, and sexy black-ops soldier Jory Dean would try to win her over with his steel-gray eyes and deadly charm, but she won't be conned by this man they call a traitor. All she has to do is figure out the science necessary to save his life, and she's done. Something isn't adding up, though, and she won't rest until she uncovers the truth-even if it's buried in his deep, dangerous kiss.

A passion she can't resist...

Jory will do anything to reunite with and save his brothers-even kidnap the gorgeous woman who's working to deactivate the deadly chip in their spines. But the forces determined to destroy his family won't let them go so easily. Keeping Piper alive is more than he bargained for-and so is his burning desire for her. But with every second bringing him closer to certain death, can he afford to lose himself in her hot and willing embrace?

Review-

Total Surrender was easily one of my most awaited reads of 2015. I LOVE the Sin Brothers series by Rebecca Zanetti and each and every single book in this series has been a thrill ride. I was really looking forward to Jory's book and all that anticipation which had built up finally exploded in Total Surrender. It is safe to say I loved this book!

Jory is our hero. He has been in a coma for 2 years and now three months later he has fully recovered. He is ready to take on the Commander and save his brothers before their chips explode. What he doesn't expect is Piper who gets in the way. I loved Jory. Plain and simple. He has come a long way from being a weak kid. Now he's a sensitive and strong man with an adorable geeky side.

Then there was Piper. Piper has been hired to figure out a way to save Jory. She is a computer genius and knows Jory is trouble yet she can't help but be intrigued by him. I had difficulty liking Piper in the beginning. She has so many wrong ideas in her head and granted they were planted but I wanted her to trust Jory already. Her situation was tearing her in two different directions but I did understand her by the end.

Like all the previous books, Total Surrender is filled with twists and turns. New secrets are exposed and the Dean brothers find themselves in the middle of it. I loved the chemistry Jory and Piper shared. They made for a good team and they understood each other. Rebecca Zanetti writes amazing steamy scenes and this book was no exception.

What I loved the most about this book was seeing all the previous couples again. Matt, Nate and Shane have a vital role and I thoroughly enjoyed all the conversations the four brothers shared. This is the final book in the Sin Brothers series but I am definitely keeping my fingers crossed for a spin off. I loved Total Surrender.

  2. The cover of a lot of romance books annoy me because they're all shirtless men :( GAH, anyway this sounds intriguing enough - & wow, almost 5 stars! Lovely review overall <3 Benish | Feminist Reflections
