Review- Deeper We Fall by Chelsea M.Cameron

Summary-

Two years after her best friend was involved in a car accident that caused a traumatic brain injury, Lottie Anders is ready to start her freshman year of college. Ready to move on. Ready to start forgetting the night that ripped her life apart.

Her plans come to a screeching halt when not one, but both brothers responsible for the accident end up back in her life again.

Zack is cruel, selfish and constantly rubbing what happened to her friend in Lottie's face.

Zan is different. He listens to her awkward ramblings. He loves "To Kill a Mockingbird" as much as she does, and his dark eyes are irresistible. His words are few and far between, but when he does speak, she can't help but listen.

The trouble is, Zan was the driver in the accident, and now Lottie's discovered he lied to her about what happened that night. Now she must decide if trusting him again will lead to real forgiveness, or deeper heartache.

Review-

Deeper We Fall was not the first book I'd read by Chelsea M.Cameron. I'd read My Favorite Mistake by her and loved it. So I was expecting a good read and that is exactly what I got. Deeper We Fall changed my expectations which I had built before starting the book and I thoroughly enjoyed losing myself in it.

Lottie, is our heroine. She is trying to move on from the accident which left her best friend a traumatic brain injury. She wants to forget what ripped her life apart and start afresh in college. But things change drastically when the brothers who were responsible for the accident end up back in her life. I really liked Lottie. She was caring and kind and friendly. Her nervous ramblings were cute and after all that she'd been through you just wanted what was best for her.

Then we have the two brothers Zack and Zan. Zack is the cruel one who seems to have already forgotten what happened. Then there's Zan. He is intense and quiet. I was super happy to get his point of view in the book because if not for that we wouldn't have been able to see the depth of his feelings for Lottie. he has got so many issues of his own to deal with but still his love for Lottie remains constant and steady.

The romance is Deeper We Fall is slow burn. Zan and Lottie are not even friends until after the first half of the book. But it was supposed to be that way because both of them have to come to terms with the changes which are happening in their lives. The romance was nice and believable. But I totally saw through the whole secret/lie thing.

One other thing I loved about the book was Lottie's bond with Will, her twin brother. I may be completely biased cause I have a twin brother too but their relationship was portrayed to perfection. The whole twindar which they have and their constant support of each other through thick and thin made me love them more. I loved the whole gang and I'm excited for the next book. Fans of new adult should definitely give Chelsea M.Cameron a try.
