Top Ten Tuesday #12

Top Ten Tuesday is a bookish meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.

Top 10 new to me authors of 2013

My picks are-

1. Nalini Singh
I am SO glad I decided to pick up Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series. She is brilliant beyond words and I love her books immensely.

2. Veronica Rossi
I love the world Veronica Rossi has created in Under the Never Sky.

3. Richelle Mead
I finally got to the much hyped Vampire Academy series and it was very much worth it. One of the best series and authors I've read.

4. Laura Kaye
Laura Kaye writes the best short sexy reads and I'm so glad to have discovered her this year.

5. Colleen Hoover
I read my first Colleen Hoover book this year and ended up reading all her books. She's awesome!

6. Tarryn Fisher
This author's books are addicting and complicated and I loved reading them.

7. Sarah Dessen
I read my first Sarah Dessen book this year and sadly I didn't enjoy The Moon and More very much.

8. David Levithan
I hadn't read anything by David Levithan before but I read The Lover's Dictionary this year. I hope to read all of his books.

9. Marissa Meyer
I read Cinder and Scarlet this year and Marissa Meyer writes beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed her books.

10. Danielle Steel
I've always wanted to read a Danielle Steen book so I read Winners. It was nothing extraordinary but a good read.

So that's my list. I've become fans of some amazing authors this year.
What are your picks?

  1. I really need to read that Psy-changeling series....I've been hearing about it for years but never seem to have the time. =( I also read my first Sarah Dessen book this year, mine was her 1995 debut This Summer, which was ok but nothing super special.
