Review-

Sweet Revenge is the second book in Rebecca Zanetti's Sins Brothers series. I had totally loved the first book which was Forgotten Sins so I had high expectations of Sweet Revenge. I am so happy to say that Sweet Revenge was just as good if not better than Forgotten Sins. And by just as good I mean amazing, of course.

Matt is the oldest brother. He has always been the protector, training his brothers hard so that they could escape the evil commander. But now time is running out and he needs to find the doctor to remove his chip. I loved Matt. It is extremely easy to love these brothers actually. Matt was such a mix of strength and vulnerability. Matt has a horrid past but his protectiveness over his brothers and Laney made him swoony.

Laney is the owner of a bar in the small town of Charmed. When Matt comes looking for a job in her bar she knows the mysterious guy is trouble but she keeps him anyway. I loved Laney. She had her own secrets but she was very likeable and easy to relate to. Rebecca Zanetti writes really nice female protagonists, like not the irritating dumb ones. They're smart and capable and love the hero just right.

Matt and Laney start off as temporary but they both know what they feel for each other could never be temporary. They have an amazing chemistry and they compliment each other really well. With the hot romance we also have a serial killer on the loose. This made for a thoroughly complex and intriguing plot.

Some questions are answered but even more questions pop up. I loved getting glimpses of Shane and Josie. I am REALLY curious to see Nate's story because he has so much history. I love how engaging Rebecca Zanetti's stories are. I am so glad that I found this series.

  1. How come I haven't heard of this series. I really like the idea and the connection between brothers sounds really good. Matt also sounds amazing and must say swoon-worthy :) Great review, Janhvi :)
