Goodreads Summary:
As a sex addict, Lily Calloway must do the impossible. Stay celibate for 90 days.
Cravings and fantasies become her new routine, but while Loren Hale recovers from his alcohol addiction, Lily wonders if he’ll realize what a monster she really is. After all, her sexual compulsions begin to rule her life the longer she stays faithful to him.
Progress. That’s what Lily’s striving for. But by trying to become closer to her family—people who aren’t aware of her addiction—she creates larger obstacles. When she spends time with her youngest sister, she learns more about her than she ever imagined and senses an unsettling connection between Daisy and Ryke Meadows.
With Lily and Lo’s dysfunctional relationship teetering and unbalanced, they will need to find a way to reconnect from miles apart. But the inability to “touch” proves to be one of the hardest tests on their road to recovery. Some love brushes the surface. Some love is deeper than skin.
Lily and Lo have three months to discover just how deep their love really goes.

REVIEW:
I absolutely enjoyed the first book in the Addicted series, Addicted To You, my review of which can be read here. In a genre that seems to be getting very monotonous and predictable, it was a very different and refreshing New Adult read. After having read Ricochet, a full length novella, I think that the series can easily become a favourite of mine. Ricochet starts out right from where Addicted To You ended on an open ending note.
Loren is away from Lily and he's actually doing really good at rehab. It's Lily who has the problem now as Lo asked her to wait for him and she can't wait for her best friend and boyfriend to get back as she gets too desperate to have sex sometimes and she misses him emotionally too. Nonetheless, she starts seeing a therapist as well and I loved seeing both Lil and Lo take their problem in their own hands and walk down the path of recovery.
I've said this before but I have to say it again. For a book that takes up two serious issues, just like it's prequel, Ricochet was a fun and enjoyable read. I found myself laughing out loud many times and side characters like Lil's sisters, Lo's half brother, their families and some people and incidents from their past, made Ricochet a story that's beyond just self recovery, it was group recovery. At some intervals, there came up certain past experiences and seeing as the novella takes place over a span of some three/ four months, the additional scenes added a lot more content and interest.
I also loved the new pairings which seem so cute and fantastic. I can't wait for Rose and Connor and Daisy and Ryke's stories. They're all a bunch of fun people who have issues that they prefer to solve together by helping each other out and being there for one another. While I did miss Loren in Ricochet, I loved how his absence has actually made him and Lil realise how much they love and need each other.
Ricochet was an highly amazing read and this series is supremely addictive in the best way possible.
