Dancing with the enemy
Krish Dev needs to find a bride—and quick! With a marriage arranged by his father looming, Krish finds the key to his freedom in Maya Shome, but is this dazzling beauty really all she seems...?
Maya has only one thing in mind: revenge. But when the host of the most exclusive high society party asks her to dance what is meant to be an innocent tango leads to an engagement to Krish—her enemy’s son!
Arranging their own marriage could work to their advantage…if they can resist mixing business with pleasure!
Review-
The Indian Tycoon's Marriage Deal turned out to be a really quick and pleasurable read. It does have the same old marriage of convenience plot line to it but Adite Banerjee has written it in such a refreshing manner. I loved Krish and Maya and their story was fabulous.
Maya is a professional landscaper. After losing her father four years ago she has worked extremely hard to complete her education and to get where she is today. I really liked Maya. She was a sweet heart and though there is a revenge plot, there was no malice in her towards Krish. Her intentions may not exactly be pure but she was right in her heart.
Then we have Krish. I really liked him too. He has always had an overbearing father who wants to control his life. He hopes to teach his father a lesson by marrying a girl he would not approve of. I loved the way Krish was so completely smitten by Maya when they meet. There is an equal attraction on both the sides which can't always be found in Mills and Boon heroes.
Krish and Maya had chemistry. I loved how playful and intimate their relationship was. There was exactly the right amount of angst and drama to liven the emotions of the couple up. This was more of an opposites attract thing and I loved how well balanced Krish and Maya were.
Adite Banerjee's writing style is engaging. The story moves forward at a good pace and you can see how Maya and Krish grow and change. Towards the better, of course. The Indian Tycoon's Marriage Deal was one of the best Mills and Boon I've read recently and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
