Review- Can't Help Falling in Love by Bella Andre

Review-

Can't Help Falling in Love is the third book in Bella Andre's Sullivans series. This is Gabe's story who is the youngest Sullivan and a fire fighter. I have to admit that I wasn't very much impressed with Gabe before starting the book because I already have other favorites and he wasn't one of them. But still, Can't Help Falling in Love turned out to be a good read.

The story starts off with Gabe saving Megan and her daughter Summer from a horrible fire. Megan is grateful to Gabe but knows that she would never again fall for a man who works so dangerously for a living. Similarly, Gabe has had an awful experience with one of the previous victims he saved from a fire. So now he does all he can to stay away from them.

I liked how well developed Gabe and Megan were as characters. They both had pasts and history which made them what they were in the present. Both of them had issues to deal with and things to get over from. I liked how Gabe was protective of Megan's daughter Summer. The bond they shared was really sweet. Megan was just as nice, a strong mother trying the best she could.

Bella Andre always writes the most believable romance with amazing chemistry and that was again the case with Megan and Gabe. They were really denying their feelings for each other in the beginning but the sparks were flying between them. Summer's scheming to get Gabe and Megan together was a little silly but it worked.

Though Can't Help Falling in Love was a pretty typical read I liked it. I am more excited for Sophie Sullivan's story which is next but I like to go in order while reading a series so Megan and Gabe's book had to come first. I liked Can't Help Falling in Love.

Review- I Only Have Eyes For You by Bella Andre

Review-

Finally I got to I Only Have Eyes For You. This is Sophie and Jake's story and the fourth book in Bella Andre's Sullivans series. I have to say I was pretty excited for this book because I always enjoy good girl bad boy romances. Add to that these two people shared so much history it made things all the more interesting.

Sophie Sullivan is one half of the youngest Sullivans. She is the "nice" twin. Sophie has always been a good girl, lost in her world of books. With a family of such over achievers she has felt a little out of place but she doesn't mind being in the back ground. If only Jake could see her as more than his best friend's little sister. I really liked Sophie. She was sweet and so in love with Jake since the beginning. But she could get a little judge mental at times which I didn't like.

Then we have Jake. Now this guy has such a messed up past. He doesn't believe in love or relationships. With a shitty child hood he is grateful for all that the Sullivans have done for him and he is not going to ruin that by sleeping with pure, sweet Sophie. I always love a hero who thinks he is undeserving of the heroine and Jake was a classic example of that.

I loved the chemistry Jake and Sophie shared. They had a bond of friendship and understanding. Though Jake didn't want to go into depth with his feelings with Sophie he couldn't help but fall for her. I am not always a fan of these kind of plots but it worked for Sophie and Jake's story because Jake needed the push or he would have never acted on his feelings.

I loved how protective the entire Sullivans clan was of Sophie. We actually get to see everyone in the book including how the couples from the previous books are doing. This series can get a bit repetitive with the sweet romance plot it has going on so I suggest reading the books spaced out, in between other reads. I really enjoyed I Only Have Eyes For You.

Review- From This Moment On by Bella Andre

Summary-

Review-

I had found Bella Andre's first book in the Sullivans series to be an okay read but after reading a few really good reviews of From This Moment On I was excited for it too. And I was definitely not disappointed. From This Moment On is a hundred times better than its predecessor. It was a wonderful love story which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Marcus is the oldest Sullivan brother at 36 years old. He has been the responsible one since childhood taking care of the rest of his siblings. While I didn't think I'd find Marcus to be anything amazing I was completely wrong. Marcus blew me away. With his thoughts, his feelings, the way he was with Nicola and everyone else, Marcus was a very swoon worthy character.

Then there is Nicola or Nico as the world knows her to be. She is a young pop star and is tired of her image of being an irresponsible, spoiled rock star. No one sees the person underneath till she meets Marcus. What was supposed to be a one night stand turns into so much more and I loved how Nicola never denied about her feelings for Marcus.

I loved Marcus and Nicola's story. While they did share sizzling chemistry there was this tenderness and sweetness to their bond which made it very genuine. The way Marcus and Nicola's relationship went was shown very realistically, taking into account Nicola's vulnerabilities and Marcus' hesitance. The age difference thing was also handled very well. When these two finally came together it was a pleasure to watch.

We also get to meet the rest of the Sullivans clan. I thoroughly enjoyed all the parts where the entire family gets together. It just gave the book more depth to see the relationships the siblings shared. From this Moment On was a really good read which I would recommend to all romance lovers.

Review- The Look of Love by Bella Andre

Review-

I wanted to read the Sullivan s by Bella Andre since a long time. When I finally had nothing else to read and was in the mood to read some plain old contemporary romance, I got to The Look of Love. While I can't say it was amazing, because frankly, it wasn't even close to it but it was okay and I have hopes for the remaining books in the series.

Chloe is having a bad night. He car ends up in a ditch and she is standing in pouring rain with a bruised cheek. But then Chase Sullivan shows up and things start looking up. I found Chloe to be okay. Yes, she had a horrible past with her ex and her insecurities kept showing up. But listening to her go on and on about never trusting a man again got a bit boring.

Chase Sullivan is a photographer. He has his pick of the most beautiful women in the world but when he sees Chloe at the side of the road he instinctively wants her. I liked Chase. He wanted to help and protect Chloe. He was a patient man and the love he shared for the remaining Sullivan clan was obvious.

I am not a big fan of insta love and that is exactly what we get to see in The Look of Love. It was more like insta lust but love came very soon too. Chloe and Chase red great chemistry. Bella Andre knows how to write steamy scenes which just the right amount of banter and intimacy and it was great to see Chloe and Chase together.

I am also really intrigued by the oldest Sullivan brother Marcus. I will be getting right to his book next. But in general all the six brothers and the twin girls sound wonderful. I can't wait to read all their stories. I ended up liking The Look of Love.

Review- Hot as Sin by Bella Andre

Review-

I really enjoy reading second chance romances and that is the reason I decided to pick up Hot as Sin by Bella Andre. Hot as Sin was a good read and I liked reading it but there was nothing new in the romance. I felt like I've read similar stories before and I found the conflict between the hero and the heroine to be a bit weak with the suspense part as well. 

Let's start with Dianna. Dianna left Sam ten years ago. Now she's the host of a successful show on TV where she gets to meet several new people and try out different things. She thinks that she has moved on in her life but she hasn't allowed anyone close to her heart. I liked Dianna. In her head she was right and her reasons for leaving Sam were understandable. I liked how hard she fought for her sister.

Then we have Sam. Sam is a firefighter. After Dianna, he has nothing to lose and that is why he goes in the most dangerous of fires and tries to save people. It was easy to see that Sam has never been able to get over Dianna. Yes, he has his doubts about marriage and relationships but he wants it all with Dianna. I liked Sam and how protective he was of Dianna. He was a good man overall.

The romance between Sam and Dianna was nice. It was kinda like insta love when they first meet 10 years ago but I liked that we got to see the little glimpse of past. In the present, there are a lot of words unsaid between them. I found the misunderstanding between Sam and Dianna to be a little weak. Also, the accident in which Dianna is hurt was a little unbelievable.

Bella Andre always writes a sweet romance and Sam and Dianna definitely deserved their happy ending. Like I said before, the suspense part of the book was not very strong but I liked the romance bit. Hot as Sin didn't have anything exceptional in it but it was a good read.
