Feature Follow Friday #76

This is a weekly blog meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

The week's prompt is:

How do you prefer to keep up with your favorite blogs?

Okay, so I was much more active commenting wise a few months back but I have lagged off. It is because life and other work gets in the way of blogging and I hate cutting back my reading time so blogging is taking the brunt of it. But my favourite way to keep up with my blog friends is Instagram. I can follow them and see what they are up to. I don't visit blogs as often as I'd like to.

What are your answers?

Feature Follow Friday #75

I'm doing last week's prompt because it sounds like a fun question to me!

The week's prompt was:

What book/series do you love secretly and have a hard time admitting you love?

Okay, so I don't really have a hard time admitting that I love something. But if I think about it, today, I would hesitate a bit to admit that once upon a time I was a total twihard. I loved Edward Cullen and was a fangirl for the entire series. It was actually one of the first books which got me into reading. So the entire Twilight series would be my pick.

Feature Follow Friday #74

This week's prompt is:

What books have made you cry (good cry, bad cry, ugly cry)?

Okay, so I'm not a crier. I usually love my happy endings and my feel good books. Takes my mind off reality and I like it that way. But there are some books which have made me more emotional. It is definitely more because of the characters and what they've been through. I just felt a strong connection and empathy towards them.

My picks are-

What was the first book that moved you? Scared you, made you cry, disturbed your view of the world?

I get chills everytime this book comes to my mind, even though I read it almost two years ago while pursuing my Masters, it still makes me emotional.

Feature Follow Friday #71

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

This week's prompt is:

Best or favorite villains?

Hmm I had to think a little bit about this one but then I decided to go for something I'd read a few years ago. I'm going for Warner from the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. Warner was a person with many layers which we get to unravel as the series goes but I think he made for a good villain in Shatter Me

Summary-

Juliette hasn’t touched anyone in exactly 264 days.

The last time she did, it was an accident, but The Reestablishment locked her up for murder. No one knows why Juliette’s touch is fatal. As long as she doesn’t hurt anyone else, no one really cares. The world is too busy crumbling to pieces to pay attention to a 17-year-old girl. Diseases are destroying the population, food is hard to find, birds don’t fly anymore, and the clouds are the wrong color.

The Reestablishment said their way was the only way to fix things, so they threw Juliette in a cell. Now so many people are dead that the survivors are whispering war – and The Reestablishment has changed its mind. Maybe Juliette is more than a tortured soul stuffed into a poisonous body. Maybe she’s exactly what they need right now.

Juliette has to make a choice: Be a weapon. Or be a warrior.

Feature Follow Friday #70

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

This week's prompt is:

What is your ALL TIME favorite book?

My all time favourite book is definitely Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh. There is just something so exciting and intriguing about the vast world that Nalini Singh has created and no matter how many times I reread it, I love it even more. I HIGHLY recommend this series but Slave to Sensation will always have a special place in my heart because it is what started it all.

Summary-
THE HOT NEW NAME IN PARANORMAL ROMANCE.
Nalini Singh dives into a world torn apart by a powerful race with phenomenal powers of the mind-and none of the heart.
In a world that denies emotions, where the ruling Psy punish any sign of desire, Sascha Duncan must conceal the feelings that brand her as flawed. To reveal them would be to sentence herself to the horror of "rehabilitation" - the complete psychic erasure of everything she ever was...
Both human and animal, Lucas Hunter is a changeling hungry for the very sensations the Psy disdain. After centuries of uneasy coexistence, these two races are now on the verge of war over the brutal murders of several changeling women. Lucas is determined to find the Psy killer who butchered his packmate, and Sascha is his ticket into their closely guarded society. But he soon discovers that this ice-cold Psy is very capable of passion - and that the animal in him is fascinated by her. Caught between their conflicting worlds, Lucas and Sascha must remain bound to their identities - or sacrifice everything for a taste of darkest temptation.

Feature Follow Friday #69

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

This week's prompt is:

DESCRIBE THE PLOTS OF YOUR TEN FAVORITE BOOKS IN SEVEN WORDS EACH.

This is hard but I'm going to try to do my best here.

1. Two Psy and Changelings fall in love.
2. Girl finds herself in Ireland with River.
3. Professional assassins trained by nuns of St.Mortain.
4. Friends dealing with issues in small town.
5. Interracial romance between sexy professor and student.
6. Rock star falls in love with librarian.
7. Archangels and vampires in a dangerous world.
8. Apocalypse in modern world brings them together.
9. Story of his relationship as a dictionary.
10. Love with lies and creepily crazily relatable.

I don't think I've done justice to these books but this was fun.
Happy Friday, everybody! :)

Feature Follow Friday #65

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

This week's question is:

If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would you pick? Fictional ones count too!

My answer:

I do not remember of a time when we did not have a pet dog at home. I love pets and we currently have a pet dog whom I love immensely.

I have no idea how my real pet would react, but if I am to add more pets to the list, I'd love to have an owl, a white wolf and an unicorn. I know. I dream big, but that's the whole point. *winks*

Feature Follow Friday #64

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

Today's question is:

If you had the money what would your own personal library look like? What would be in it? What colors, decorations, etc would you put in it? Suggested by  The Realm of Books

My answer:

Being a book hoarder, I've always imagined my dream library. I don't have any picture that will do justice to what I have in my mind, but what I'd basically like is an entire room dedicated to books, books and more books. I'd even add in a blog working desk and a cratfs corner where I can make bookmarks. There will be a comfortable couch and a really soft blanket with nice pillows on the floor. The room will be carpeted and will have that warm feel of a personal library.
