Summary-
The dark secret Kayden has kept hidden for years is out. Worse, he's facing charges for battery. The only way he stands a chance against the charges is if Callie speaks up, something he'll never ask her to do.
Callie knows Kayden is going back to his dark place and desperately wants to save him. But saving him means admitting her secrets aloud. Review-
After the massive cliffhanger on which the Coincidence of Callie and Kayden had ended I was pretty excited to finally see what happened with them in the Redemption of Callie and Kayden. The book was quite good but not as good as the first one. The intensity which was built up before kinda seemed to have fizzled out in this one.
The Redemption of Callie and Kayden begins right after the events which take place in the previous books. Kayden is still recovering from what happened before and his mother has shifted him into a facility to recover for a few days. I'd liked Kayden in the last book but he seems to be falling apart in this one. He's stubborn and wants to keep Callie out. Thank god he doesn't succeed.
Callie was still the same sweet girl. She's determined to save everyone including herself and Kayden and move on ahead in life. I loved Callie's best friend Seth. He was an amazing guy and always brought in the much needed comic relief. Callie's was really strong and I loved seeing her come into her true self in this book.
The romance between Kayden and Callie was really nice. They have chemistry and they understand each other's issues. The thing I didn't like in the book though, was that everything was left really open ended. This book kinda concludes Kayden and Callie's story or at least that's what I think because Luke's book is next. But I'm getting the feeling the same issues are gonna be slapped on again in his book.
It actually disappointed me that there was no point to the book. Things don't really move forward where the plot was concerned. Jessica Sorensen's writing is good and though this book wasn't that intense I still enjoyed it. I just hope Luke's book is good and a bit more unique. All in all it was a good read but I wanted more.

Review-
I was super excited to read The Coincidence of Callie and Kayden. With its gorgeous cover and engaging summary it had all the elements I love reading about in a book. This book made me feel so many things at the same time that it is hard to describe. But its safe to say that is was one hell of a good book.
Callie and Kayden are very complicated characters. They are messed up. Like REALLY messed up. Each one of them has a fucked up past which they are trying to run away from while keeping all their feelings bottled up inside. On the surface they may seem like two totally different people but they have more in common than anyone could guess.
Callie was a nice girl. She has been through some horrible things which makes her want to be invisible. She struggles everyday to breathe. Her situation was so bad that it made me feel really sad for her. Then there's Kayden who's been suffering in silence. The abuse which he has to face from his father was painful to watch.
Callie and Kayden meet through a series of coincidences. Each one seems to be there for the other at just the perfect time. Their romance was a slow burn and I absolutely savored it. Trust doesn't come easily to both of them so it was amazing to see how their story progressed and became intertwined. We also get to see a sigh worthy romantic rain scene which totally does justice to the book cover.
Just when we start hoping that everything is going to be alright for Callie and Kayden and that they'll finally get the happiness they so badly deserve, comes the ending. It was a MAJOR cliffhanger which almost made me scream out loud with the unfairness of it. It leaves you craving desperately for the next book. If you hate cliffhanger endings like me I suggest you wait for the next book and then read it altogether or else get your hands on this one asap!

I had read a lot of great reviews about The Secret of Ella and Micha so I was really looking forward to reading it. Its a new adult contemporary romance which falls under my favorite genre. It was a book which turned out better than what I expected it to be. It was a good book.

Ella used to be a rule breaking goth who didn't care what people thought of her. With her outspoken attitude and openness she wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind. Micha had always been a player flirting and hooking up with girls as they came. But Ella was the only one who held his heart. She was the only one who could always see through him.But after that one night Ella leaves everything behind and goes to college.
Now she's back because its summer and she has nowhere else to go. But she's transformed into a completely different person now. When she left, she left behind the outspoken Ella with her fiery attitude too. She's a girl transformed. Micha has been searching for Ella since the past eight months when she left everything including him behind. He's been pining after her. When Ella returns to town Micha is determined to bring down her facade and get his old Ella back.
Micha is the only one who could get under Ella's skin and try as she may she can't help opening up to Micha. The romance between them was sweet. Ella and Micha had chemistry and you could see how they were made for each other. We also get to meet Lila and Ethan who together make for a great cast of characters. The ending was nice but not completely satisfying. I am looking forward to The Forever of Ella and Micha where I hope they get their happily ever after.
