Review-

I think I start my every single Jill Shalvis book by saying that I am a huge fan of hers and that still remains true. Merry Christmas, Baby is a Lucky Harbor novella which came out after the series ended. It is about one of my favorite couples in the series, Sawyer and Chloe and I loved it.

It has been five years since Chloe and Sawyer have been together and they are still very much in love with each other. But recently things have gotten a bit rocky between them because of Chloe's pregnancy and Sawyer distancing himself a bit. Chloe is eight and a half months pregnant in the novella and though she loves Sawyer, pregnancy makes her a bitch. 

I still loved Chloe. She longed for Sawyer to get back home safe and be with her. She was scared and that was making her lash out and so desperate to attend the town's Christmas party. Sawyer was still the same sexy man we'd met in Head over Heels. He loved Chloe to pieces, she was what made his life a roller coaster and he wouldn't have it any other way. He just hated seeing his wife in pain.

As expected Chloe goes into labor AT the Christmas party. I loved seeing Sawyer and Chloe together facing the situation. They were too cute. We also get to see some of our favorite couples and this short novella was a pleasure to read. I only wished it were longer. If you are a Lucky Harbor fan do not miss it.

Review- One in a Million by Jill Shlavis

Summary-

Review-

One in a Million is the twelfth and the last book in Lucky Harbor series. I have loved this series and all the Lucky Harbor residents so I am feeling really bittersweet to see this series end but I am happy none the less. One in a Million is Tanner and Callie's story and I really liked it.

Callie is the grand daughter of Lucille. I really liked that it all came back to Lucille because she has been such an integral part of Lucky Harbor. I love Lucille in all her whimsical glory and we get to see a lot of her here. But coming back to Callie, she runs a wedding website and even though she doesn't believe in happy endings it is her job. I liked Callie. She was sweet and past experiences keep her from believing in love.

Then we have Tanner. Tanner is a deep sea diver. Now Tanner's teenage son is back in his life and he is trying hard to juggle everyone. I really liked Tanner. He was the calm and collected one to Callie's klutziness. He seemed to be in control of the situation on the outside but he had his own issues to deal with.

Tanner and Callie both don't believe in love in the beginning so they start off with a no strings attached relationship. But soon they are thoroughly tangled up in each other. I did find that this book had more cliches than any of the Lucky Harbor books. But I enjoyed it none the less.

I also loved to see how well Sam and Becca and Cole and Olivia were doing. We also get a glimpse at a few old favorites- Sawyer and Chloe - and that just made the book so much more pleasurable for me. All in all One in a Million was a good end to the series. All the Lucky Harbor books will always have a special place in my heart.

Review-

He's So Fine is the eleventh book in Jill Shlavis' Lucky Harbor series. I have to say that in this last trilogy, I was the most excited about Cole's book. He had me excited and intrigued since we met him in It's in His Kiss. I am so pleased to say that I thoroughly enjoyed He's So Fine. Cole is definitely one of my favorites in the lot.

Olivia runs her vintage shop in the town of Lucky Harbor. Olivia has had a bad past which she is hiding. She wants to be known for who she is now, not who she was in the past. I really liked Olivia. She pretended to have a hard exterior but underneath she was a big softie. I liked how we got to see all her vulnerabilities and how she was when she was with Cole.

Cole runs a boat business with his friends Sam and Tanner. Cole is the guy who can fix anything and everything. He sees the world in black and white. I adored Cole. He was loyal and protective over his friends and family. When he meets Olivia all he wants to do is get to know her better. I really liked how determined Cole was.

Olivia and Cole had amazing chemistry. Since their hilarious meeting on the first page I loved how they were together. Despite both of them having issues to overcome I liked how they always ended up with each other in difficult times. They shared a beautiful intimacy and it was lovely watching them fall for each other.

Jill Shalvis, as always writes amazingly well. I flew through He's So Fine in one sitting. I also loved seeing all the other residents of Lucky Harbor and am really looking forward to Tanner's story to end the series. I really enjoyed He's So Fine.

Review-

It is no secret that I love Jill Shalvis' books. I adore the Lucky Harbor series so of course when I got a chance to read It's in His Kiss I got right to it. It's in His Kiss is the tenth book in the Lucky Harbor series. This book starts off the last set of trilogy which will be in the series. Its the story of Becca and Sam and I really loved it.

Becca needed an escape from her life so she's moved to Lucky Harbor. Lucky Harbor was supposed to be just a pit stop for her but soon it becomes so much more. I really liked Becca. She was sweet and sassy and not afraid to show her feelings. She had her genuine fears and a horrible past but she was still very determined. All in all Becca was very easy to relate to.

Then we have Sam. Sam with his two friends Cole and Tanner run a boat business. I really liked Sam but he was a stubborn man. Sam has had a hard past and he knows never to mix business with pleasure. When Becca starts working for Sam he can't resist her. Sam was the typical brooding hero. He was strong and silent. I really liked how protective he was of Becca. He does behave like an ass at times but he knows when he's made a mistake.

Becca and Sam were really good together. Becca's sweetness was the perfect balance to Sam's jadedness. They had incredible chemistry and the intimate scenes were sweet yet sexy. I absolutely loved watching Sam unknowingly fall for Becca and Becca regaining her confidence because of Sam. They were good for each other.

I also loved Sam's friends Cole and Tanner. Tanner is still a bit mysterious but I loved Cole's sense of humor. I am really looking forward to his book next. It's in His Kiss was a wonderful read which makes you feel good at the end of the day. I love the town of Lucky Harbor so I enjoyed It's in His Kiss.

I was eagerly waiting for my arc of Once in a Lifetime because firstly, its a Jill Shalvis book. Secondly, it's a Jill Shalvis book! I was really excited to get started on it even though I wasn't that sure about Aubrey and Ben as a couple. But Lucky Harbor is one of my favorite series and all my doubts were for no reason. I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Ben suffered a great loss five years ago. Since then he has been burying himself in work, taking on dangerous missions and going to godforsaken places all to keep his mind away. Now he's back in Lucky Harbor. What he doesn't expect is to be pulled in towards the town't troublemaker, Aubrey. I liked Ben. He was the quiet guy but he saw Aubrey for who she really was unlike others.

Aubrey knows she's made a number of mistakes in the past. Now all the wants to do is right her wrongs so she can move on in her life with a clear conscience. I hadn't liked Aubrey in the previous books but I found her so much better in this one. She was not irritating or snobbish like she pretends to be. Aubrey was actually pretty vulnerable and the only one who gets to see it is Ben.

I loved the romance between Ben and Aubrey. They understood each other even if they didn't want to. They are both not looking for a serious relationship but they have undeniable chemistry. In signature Jill Shalvis style the romance goes. I loved seeing two people fall for each other against the odds.

We also get updates on Luke and Ali and Jack and Leah. Their friendship is so deep and true and it just adds more richness to the book. I am extremely happy that there are going to be more books to the Lucky Harbor series. This series is a definite must read.

Review- Always On My Mind by Jill Shalvis

Review-

Always On My Mind is the next book in Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor series. I adore the town of Lucky Harbor and the people in it. All the stories and genuinely romantic and fun. This is the story of Jack and Leah who've been friends since childhood.

Leah is a pastry chef and after messing up her school and a reality cooking show she's back in Lucky Harbor to take care of her grandmother's pastry shop. What she doesn't expect how ever is for her childhood best friend Jack to become such a distraction. I liked Leah though she kept on changing her mind. She had abandonment issues because of which she's so hesitant with Jack.

Jack Harper is the local firefighter. His dad died a hero and Jack is just tying to keep up with his legacy. He isn't looking to get his heart broken again by Leah and has no time for a relationship with his job. Jack also has his mother to take care of. When Leah tells a fib, that she and Jack are in a relationship to soother his mother, he has no choice but to go along with it.

Jack and Leah had a lot of unsaid things between them. They weren't exactly misunderstandings, just conversations they should have had. Both have issues with which they're dealing. But there is an undeniable spark between them. Like all Jill Shalvis romances this one too had a lovely one though it was certainly not my favorite.

Though Always On My Mind was a predictable romance it was very enjoyable. It makes for a light yet sexy read. We get to see Ali and Luke. Ben's story is next and I think he's going to end up with Aubrey. All in all Always On My Mind was a fantastic read for me.

Review- Lucky In Love by Jill Shalvis

Review-

Lucky In Love is the fourth book in Jill Shalvis' Lucky Harbor series. This book can be easily read as a stand alone or the series can be read in 3s. Lucky in Love is the start of the Chocoholics trilogy in the series. Like all Jill Shalvis books I equally enjoyed and loved this one.

Mallory Quinn is Lucky Harbor's very own good girl. She is a nurse and in the eyes of people she can do no wrong. People expect her to date Mr.Right but for once Mallory wants to let go of herself and date a Mr.Wrong. I loved Mallory. She was strong and capable. She had the ability to love people without removing their faults. She was sweet and caring and she made for a great character.

Mallory finds her Mr. Wrong in Ty Garrison. Or at least she thinks she does. Ty couldn't be more right for her. Ty is the Mysterious Cute Guy we'd met in the previous book. We find out everything going on with him here. Ty can't help but get pulled towards Mallory. She is everything good, everything he desires his life to be. The only problem is, he doesn't do relationships. He doesn't want to put roots in Lucky Harbor.

The romance between Mallory and Ty was hot and sweet. They both tried their best to keep their relationship with no strings but their hearts got entangled. I love the humor in Jill Shalvis' books and the banter in this one was fantastic. I am pretty excited to see Amy, Grace, Matt and Josh's stories. All the residents in Lucky Harbor make for a great cast of characters.

I loved all the chocolate quotes in the beginning of each chapter. Being a chocoholic myself, I completely agree with them. The steamy scenes were impeccable. Jill Shalvis knows how to write realistic romance with comedy in it. These books make for a great read which leave you behind with a good feeling. If you're a fan of contemporary romance, this series should be on your list.

Review- It Had To Be You by Jill Shalvis

Review-

I was lucky enough to get a copy of Jill Shalvis' It Had To Be You prior to its release date. I've read the all the  books in the Lucky Harbor series and  was glad to be back in Lucky Harbor. It had to be you was an amazing book and another fabulous installment to her Lucky Harbor series.

It Had To Be You is the story of Ali Winters. Her boyfriend has cheated on her, she's about to be kicked out of her home and on top of all that everyone in town thinks she's a thief. Ali was a great character. She was sweet and funny. Even though life had been hard on her she was determined to be optimistic and work her way through all her problems.

Then there's Luke Hanover. When a high profile case goes wrong he comes back to the quiet of Lucky Harbor for a vacation. What he doesn't expect to find is Ali in his home. He knows she's trouble since the first moment he sees her but he can't help being pulled towards her. He wants to solve all of Ali's problems and he does just that.

What both of them don't expect to fall so hard for each other through the course of a few weeks. Luke clearly doesn't want to get involved with Ali and Ali has more than a few problems of her own to be in a relationship. I loved loved loved the romance. It was just perfect. Luke and Ali had chemistry. They understand each other perfectly and fall in love in the most unlikeliest of circumstances.

I love how Jill Shalvis writes. The characters are realistic and sensible. The romance is hot and the steamy scenes are off the charts. There is a ton of humor as well and you can't help but smile while reading one of her books. We get to meet a great cast of characters in It Had To Be You and I'm quite looking forward to Jack and Ben's stories.
