Review-
The Marriage Merger is the fourth book in Jennifer Probst's Marriage To A Billionaire series. I have read and really liked all the previous books in this series so I was expecting the same with Julietta and Sawyer's story. They both seemed to have issues and pasts which no one really knew about so I was more than ready to dive into their book. The Marriage Merger turned out to be a good book.
Julietta Conte has always been focused on moving her family business forward. In a world full of males she has worked hard and made herself a valuable asset to the company but due to all this she has always been detached from her love life. Her sisters have all found wedded bliss and Julietta can't help but long for true love as well. I liked Julietta. Work was her passion and she was a strong and determined woman even though she had her insecurities.
Then we have Sawyer Wells. Julietta and Sawyer don't know each other very well but after Sawyer propositions her with a deal which could take La Dolce Famiglia to an international chain she can't help but accept it. Since the first moment Sawyer meets Julietta he doesn't know what to do with the intense attraction between them. Sawyer has a horrible past which makes him trust nothing which is good. He had a hell lot of stuff to work through.
Julietta and Sawyer had chemistry but I didn't find it explosive like Max and Carina. They just took some time to get used to. The Marriage Merger delves deeper with the elements of light BDSM and erotica. That's why I found it a bit different from the previous books. Jennifer Probst knows how to write a romance and Julietta and Sawyer's story had everything you expect in one.
There was Wolfe whom I found to be the most fascinating character in the book. I am pretty sure we'll get a book for him and I can't wait for it. We also get to meet all the characters from the previous books and that was just plain fun. Again though, the circumstances under which the marriage takes place was quite unreal. Still, I enjoyed The Marriage Merger and if you're fan of hot yet predictable romances you should give this series a try.

Review-
I was left feeling a little disappointed after reading The Marriage Trap but The Marriage Mistake has definitely changed things for me. In a good way of course. You can find my reviews of The Marriage Bargain and The Marriage Trap. It is not completely necessary to read this series in order. This book could stand well as a stand alone too but all the couples from the previous books make an appearance so it would be better if you read them in order.
The Marriage Mistake is the story of Carina Conte, she is Michael's sister whom we'd met in the previous book. Carina has always had a crush on her brother Michael's best friend Max. She'd spent her teenage years pining after him and trying to catch his eye to no avail. Now after a few years she's accomplished and independent and still Max doesn't notice her.
Max has always know Carina was strictly off limits but when she reappears in his life after a few years he can't help noticing the changes in her and seeing her for the beautiful woman she's become. It was fun seeing Max trying to fight his attraction to Carina with no success whatsoever. The whole "Forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest" theory applied here.
Both Max and Carina were well defined characters. The romance between them was simply hot. Their sizzling chemistry came through the pages and I ate up every bit of it. Their banter was engaging and story moved smoothly from one point to another. It was a little bit unrealistic, the circumstances and conditions under which Max and Carina get married. But it IS fiction.
It was nice to see what was happening in the lives of Alexa and Nick and Michael and Maggie. We see a lot of the Conte clan and there is going to be a book called as The Marriage Merger which if my guess is correct, will be the story of Julietta and Sawyer who we got to meet in this book. The Marriage Mistake was really very good. If you're looking for a sigh worthy romance novel you should definitely read this.

Review-
The Marriage Trap is the second book in the Marriage To A Billionaire series. You can find my review of The Marriage Bargain here. I had really liked The Marriage Bargain but somehow I was not satisfied with The Marriage Trap. Maybe I was expecting a bit more from it and that is why I was left feeling disappointed after reading it.
The Marriage Trap is the story of Maggie who is Alexa's best friend and now sister in law. Maggie and Nick had a difficult childhood as we learned from the previous book which makes it hard for them to trust anybody. We'd even met Michael Conte in the previous book as the playboy Italian Billionaire.
It was a little difficult for me to relate to Maggie. It just seemed like she went out of her way to be rude to Michael on several occasions which I felt was unnecessary. But it was all very well justified as we come to know their history with each other. Maggie was hard on the surface but every now and then we could see glimpses of her vulnerability.
Michael was definitely charming. He was used to getting his way every single time but Maggie was the only one who really challenged him and pushed him to his limits. Maggie and Michael's chemistry was somehow off. I can't exactly point out where but they just didn't have it. Soon the lines between faking their feelings and reality start getting blurred.
Somehow I found the misunderstandings in The Marriage Trap to be a little silly. It was not a bad book. It had all the perfect elements in it to make it a good romance but it just didn't do it for me. It was an okay read but not as good as The Marriage Bargain. Still, I will be definitely giving The Marriage Mistake which is the next book in the series a try.

Review-
Before starting The Marriage Bargain I had read a ton of reviews for it, all of which were good, praising Jennifer Probst's writing style. Which is why I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised having discovered an amazing author who writes beautiful romance.
This is the story of Alexa, who is a bookstore owner. She requires money to save her parents home and she needs it fast. Here comes in Nick, he is Alexa's best friend's older brother who'd once shattered her heart. Nick needs a wife in order to inherit his father's corporation and he decides to proposition Alexa with an arrangement which will benefit them both.
Alexa was a sweet character. She was impulsive and kind and made no excuses for her behavior. She was the exact opposite of Nick who was controlled and guarded in every way. But Alexa's fiery passion makes him lose his mind every single time. Nick doesn't believe in the constitution of marriage or love and you could see why.
The whole Marriage of Convenience plot was not very new but the way Jennifer Probst executed the story was fun and refreshing. I thoroughly enjoyed myself while reading Nick and Alexa's witty banter. Nick's cluelessness when he was falling in love with Alexa was fun. Each scene has sparks flying off the pages. The romance was superbly done and I enjoyed getting to know the whole cast of characters.
If you enjoy reading romance The Marriage Bargain is definitely the book for you. With brilliant dialogue, steamy scenes and heart melting romance it delivers everything you could want in a contemporary romance. This was a light, quick and cute read.
