Too Far series:
REVIEW:
Before I begin gushing about Rush Finlay (which is what this review predominantly is about, I'm warning you right now itself) and Never Too Far, I must admit that because of my undying love for goodbyes and cliffhanger endings I loved Fallen Too Far and I was happy with the way it ended. But boy, I am so glad Abbi Glines wrote Never Too Far because, well... because that book is just immaculate. It is amazing- a perfect (and happy) end to Blaire and Rush's absolutely crazy and utterly cute story.
Never Too Far starts with Blaire finding out... uh, okay. That might be a spoiler.
So anyways, Blaire is just amazing. She is brave, courageous, strong and a complete giver. I really admired her. She has been through so much, she has suffered so much, she has seen the ugly face of the world at such a young age and yet she is so simple and sweet. She is one amazing girl.
First Abbi Glines gives us Beau Vincent (The Vincent Boys) then Cage York (While It Lasts) and now Rush Finlay. Rush Finlay. Oh my God, Rush Finlay, I love you (just as much as I love those two other boys)!
Rush was just immaculate. I was told that he is a jerk in Fallen Too Far but I, uh, happen to love jerks and so Rush had already stolen my heart before I even began the Too Far series.
In Never Too Far, Rush just proved that he is more than just a hot jerk, he is an absolutely generous and lovely guy. While reading Fallen Too Far, I fell in love with him thrice. And while reading Never Too Far I again fell in love with him three times. So that's falling in love six times in two books. Rush, man, you're just too much. He is flawless. I really really really have a major major major Rush Crush!
The messed up family situation from Fallen Too Far continued in Never Too Far as well. Although too messed up for my taste, it still made a lot of sense and I loved getting to know every bit of it. And in the end, everything fell in place. But yeah, it was pretty messed up. I couldn't relate to it at all.
Rush's sister Nan was a bitch alright, but if a book is ever written for her, I'd really like to know why she is so cruel. His brother Grant was great and even though I'm not a devoted Woods fan, I'm really eager to know his story in Twisted Perfection. Blaire's best friend Bethy was an awesome and kick ass girl. She was the kind of best friend every girl should be and have.
Abbi Glines has again given us a story and a hero to rant, rave and gush about. I love her writing. It's simply smacking, simple and dead on target. I love that woman and I'm going to read anything she writes. I loved loved loved Never Too Far.
