Wrap Up Post- Summer TBR Wipeout 2017

I am so happy that I took part in the Summer TBR Wipeout Challenge for 2017 hosted by The Candid Cover. This is my wrap up post for the challenge.

The Summer TBR Wipeout challenge gave me a great boost in my reading and it definitely helped me in clearing out books from my TBR pile. I covered all my review copies and also dug into a few paperbacks which were collecting dust on my shelf from quite some time. I am happy to say that I enjoyed most of my reads and I was kicking myself in the head sometimes for not having picked up a few reads earlier.

That is 22 books read in the duration of the challenge along with a few rereads as well. I definitely deviated a bit from my initial TBR pile but that was to be expected as I'm more of a mood reader. 

All in all I am extremely happy that I took part in the Summer TBR Wipeout 2017 Challenge and I am most definitely looking forward to take part in it again next year.

Update Post #2- Summer TBR Wipeout 2017

I am super excited to take part in the Summer TBR Wipeout Challenge for 2017 hosted by The Candid Cover. This is my second reading update.

For my second update, I am not super happy with my reading. I actually reread a few books and basically got distracted. So I have only a few new books to add to my overall reading progress. But now that we are in the last leg of the readathon my plan is to read as much as I can and as fast as I can. I am pretty happy with my progress with my review books. I am almost done with all of them.

Update Post #1- Summer TBR Wipeout 2017

I am super excited to take part in the Summer TBR Wipeout Challenge for 2017 hosted by The Candid Cover. This is my first reading update.

So my reading for July has been going pretty well I think. Technically I started this challenge on 10th of July but the challenge starts from 1st itself so I've decided to count the books I've read from 1st July. I've read 13 books in total till now. My TBR pile is quite big so I still have to make a dent in it, especially my paperbacks, but overall I'm quite happy with my progress. I've finished a majority of my review copies.

I am so glad I got approved for Too Beautiful to Break by Tessa Bailey. I have been anticipating that read since a long time. I will also try to read more of my physical books before the next update.

Introductory Post: Summer TBR Wipeout 2017

I. Love. Readathons. It's that simple really. I get a lot of reading done during them and try not to veer off track by rereading old favourites again. This Summer TBR Wipeout hosted by The Candid Cover seemed like an awesome opportunity to clear some of the paperbacks lying on my shelf as I tend to prefer ebooks. But I've also added a bunch of review copies and some books I've wanted to read since some time in my to-be-read pile. 

 

 

  

There's no guarantee that I will finish reading all of them. I've put in a lot of choices and I may just add/read something else depending on my mood and excitement level.
