Feature & Follow Friday #32

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

Today's question is:

Q: Tell us about the most emotional scene you’ve ever read in a book – and how did you react?

My answer:

It's no surprise that  my standard answer for emotional scenes in books is J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter series and Kathleen Winter's Annabel (my review)
Both these books made me cry at some point or the other.

More recently, however
Stephen Chbosky's The Perks Of Being A Wallflower made me an emotional mess.
Charlie's simplicity and genuineness were what brought tears to my eyes and made me fall in love with The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. I can't think of any one scene in particular, but I do remember experiencing the flow of many emotions at once while reading this book.

     What's your answer?
Follow us and we'll follow back!
Happy Friday and happy reading!

  1. Oh The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a really emotional book. But my pick would be The Storyteller. That book destroyed me and lately The Fault in Our Stars. My feeling were all over the place.
    Great picks :))
