Review- Beautiful Player by Christina Lauren

Summary-

A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.

Review-

Beautiful Player is the third full length novel in Christina Lauren's Beautiful Bastard series. This series has been steadily improving since the first book and as we go ahead I am totally getting invested in all the characters and their lives. I have to admit, Beautiful Player was the best book in the entire series till date. It had everything you could ask for in a hot romance.

Hanna is a scientist. Her social life has been zero lately so her brother asks her to get Will's help to improve it. Hanna was a different heroine. She wasn't afraid to ask for what she wanted and she was very straightforward which ended up being pretty funny. If there is anything I didn't like about Hanna was that she judged Will really quickly and didn't see how different he was with her.

Then we have Will. Despite being a player Will was one of the nicest heroes I've read about. Hanna is like a breath of fresh air for Will and after being a ladies man for so long he is ready for a real relationship. Again, Will was overall awesome but the thing that irritated me about him is that he wasn't as open with Hanna about what he wanted despite saying over and over again how he has been clear with his past girlfriends, if you could even call them that.

Will and Hanna shared really great chemistry. I enjoyed all the conversations they had. They were really nerdy and fun and adorable. The misunderstanding they had was really silly I felt and after they had shared so much with each other it could have been resolved more easily but wasn't. Plus the whole friends with benefits thing was kinda reused.

I really loved getting to see Hanna's family and the bond Will shared with them. Simultaneously, I also loved getting to see Bennett and Chloe and Max and Sara and how they were always there for Will, pulling his leg. This book was filled with hilarious situations which made me fly through the pages. Beautiful Player was a great addition to the series.

Review- Beautiful Beloved by Christina Lauren

Summary-

The seventh work in the New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling series that started with the Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player novels. Featuring all the Beautifulcharacters...plus one tiny new addition to the group.

In Beautiful Stranger , finance whiz Sara Dillon met the irresistibly sexy Brit, Max Stella, at a New York City club. Through the series we’ve watched them learn to balance commitment with their less than private brand of playfulness. In Beautiful Beloved, Max and Sara take it to the next step. But the question is: Will they be able to find a balance between the wild sexcapades they aren’t ready to retire, and the demands of parenthood that come along with their new Beautiful bundle of joy? Parenthood: it’s not for the weak of heart.

Review-

Beautiful Beloved is book #3.6 in Christina Lauren's Beautiful Bastard series. In the last novella, Beautiful Beginning we found out that Sara was pregnant and Max was over the moon about it. This novella ties up that end with Max and Sara becoming parents and how they deal with the new born.

I am forever ready for more Max Stella so I was happy to read another novella partially from his point of view. As always, Max was his charming self overflowing with love for Sara and his new baby girl. All his endearments in that sexy British accent made me swoon. Max was great and we could see how he has become more protective now that he is a father and a husband.

With Sara, I didn't really find that much of a difference. I was never a major Sara fan but I appreciated how she helped Max cope with the changes they were facing in their lives. This one was a short novella so there wasn't anything more to it except Sara and Max getting back to being themselves with an addition.

We also get introduced to Max's brother, Niall who was frankly, the show stealer in this novella for me. I am beyond excited for his book to come out and for him to finally find a woman he deserves. I am thankful that the wait isn't going to be very long for me. Beautiful Beloved was an okay read.

Review-

If there is one thing I have realized after reading 6 books by Christina Lauren is that their books are pretty damn addictive. They reel you in and you don't feel like stopping till you've reached the end of the book. I am really happy to say that the same was the case with Beautiful Secret. I thoroughly enjoyed myself while reading this book!

Ruby is an intern and when her boss announces that she has to go to a trip to New York with Niall Stella she is all too happy. I LOVED Ruby. She was such a refreshing heroine. She totally admits about her crush to Niall when they get to know each other. It was so sweet seeing her completely in love with this reserved man who is trying to get out of his shell. I loved how open and optimistic she was about everything.

Then we have Niall. It was refreshing to read about a hero who is not cocky or over confident. Niall has just gotten out of a divorce and he is highly inexperienced where women are concerned. He is hesitant and reserved. But Niall can't help but be pulled towards Ruby even though he is very unsure about what to do with her. Niall messes up big time at the end but he makes up for it with lots of groveling.

Niall and Ruby were great together. The whole opposites attract thing held very true for them. I loved all the conversations they had. Ruby dived head first with her feelings where as Niall was super careful. I liked how they each had vulnerabilities and Niall struggled to express his feelings. They were really just what the other needed.

I also loved that we got to see Bennett, Max, Will and George. All these guys are hilarious and seeing them with the shy and kinda uptight Niall Stella was fun. As you can see from all my gushing, I thoroughly enjoyed Niall and Ruby's book and I am definitely looking forward to more from Christina Lauren. Beautiful Secret was a great read.

Review- Beautiful Beginning by Christina Lauren

Summary-

Back when not being able to stand each other also meant not being able to keep their hands off each other in Beautiful Bastard, neither Bennett nor Chloe could have seen this day coming.

An exasperated bride who just wants to elope. A determined groom whose only focus is getting to the wedding night. And—of course—a whole lot of name calling.

Review-

Beautiful Beginning is a long novella and book #3.5 in the Beautiful Bastard series by Christina Lauren. This novella takes us back to the first couple in the series, Chloe and Bennett and what they are up to. Chloe and Bennett are getting married and as it is always with them, there are a lot of unexpected things happening with their crazy family and friends.

Bennett has decided not to sleep with Chloe until after the wedding. Of course, Chloe has to go against anything and everything Bennett says so she decides to seduce him. This paired with crazy family and friends and even crazier situations is what makes up for Beautiful Beginning.

I really liked seeing Bennett and Chloe again. Though they are not my favourite couple from the series, I did like seeing how they were doing. They have come a long way and it was great to see them almost read each other's mind. They were deliriously happy in love but still had tension filled arguments. Classic Chloe-Bennett.

I also loved seeing Max and Will and Bennett prank on each other. These guys are hilarious but at the end of the day they stand by each other. With an expected and unexpected news thrown in, Beautiful Beginning made for a really good read. If you have been following this series like me, this novella should not be missed.

Review- Beautiful Bombshell by Christina Lauren

Summary-

The gentlemen from Beautiful Bastard, Beautiful Stranger, and Beautiful Player are out for a wild night on The Strip.

When Max, Henry, and Will steal Bennett away for a weekend of shenanigans and strippers in Vegas, the first stop of the night doesn’t go at all as planned. With their scheme for a Guys Weekend completely derailed anyway, Max and Bennett begin to play a wild game of stealth and secrecy in order to have their bombshells all over Sin City.

Review-

Beautiful Bombshell is technically the fourth book and the second novella in Christina Lauren's Beautiful Bastard series. This novella takes place in Vegas where all the guys have gone for Bennett's bachelor party to Vegas, that too on Valentine's Day. What I liked the most about this novella is that goes completely from Max and Bennett's point of view.

Let's start with Bennett. Bennett is in Vegas with Max, Henry and Will for his bachelor party. All he wants to do is enjoy a few drinks with his buddies but they force him to go for a lap dance. What Bennett is pleasantly surprised to find is that Chloe is there in Vegas for a night too. I really enjoyed seeing how whipped Bennett was. He was desperate to get alone time with her and went to great lengths for it.

Max, on the other hand, knows that Chloe and Sara are in Vegas for a night and he plans to spend every free second he gets with Sara. I am a huge Max Stella fan and I thoroughly enjoyed his parts in this novella. All Max wants to do is give Sara whatever she wants and his love for her is clearly seen in this novella.

Unlike the last novella, this novella had more length to it. I loved seeing the guys so adorably whipped with their women also enjoyed all the hilarious excuses they came up with and all the funny situations which happened in Vegas. I am excited about Will'sbook next. Beautiful Bombshell was a good read.

Review- Beautiful Stranger by Christina Lauren

Summary-

Escaping a cheating ex, finance whiz Sara Dillon’s moved to New York City and is looking for excitement and passion without a lot of strings attached. So meeting the irresistible, sexy Brit at a dance club should have meant nothing more than a night’s fun. But the manner—and speed—with which he melts her inhibitions turns him from a one-time hookup and into her Beautiful Stranger.

The whole city knows that Max Stella loves women, not that he’s ever found one he particularly wants to keep around. Despite pulling in plenty with his Wall Street bad boy charm, it’s not until Sara—and the wild photos she lets him take of her—that he starts wondering if there’s someone for him outside of the bedroom.

Hooking up in places where anybody could catch them, the only thing scarier for Sara than getting caught in public is having Max get too close in private.

Review-

Beautiful Stranger is the second full-length novel in Christina Lauren's Beautiful Bastard series. While the first book and novella were only good enough for me, this book was a definite good. There is a vast improvement in Beautiful Stranger with more depth to characters and just in general. Beautiful Stranger was quite a good read.

To start this off, I'm just going to come out and say this, I LOVED Max Stella. He was quite possibly the perfect romance hero. With his British accent and good looks, Max was charming and very, very swoon-worthy. The way he was with Sara making her feel like the only woman in the world just made me go all *dreamy sigh* all the time. Max was amazing. End of story.

Sara, on the other hand, wasn't very remarkable. Sara has moved to New York to escape her cheating ex. Now she is definitely not looking for a relationship even though she is attracted to a Beautiful Stranger named Max. I got that Sara was very hesitant to start anything with Max, even a no strings attached, but sometimes her behavior was quite irritating and it was like she was pushing it.

Max and Sara definitely shared chemistry. They were good together, exploring their kinky sides. Sara discovered that she was an exhibitionist and Max was all too happy to do anything Sara wanted. Beautiful Stranger is filled with loads of sex but unlike the last book, it was well balanced with conversations and humor.

Like I said before, Beautiful Stranger was a huge improvement, be it dialogues or chemistry. With Max and Sara's book, I guess I have completely gotten into the series and I am definitely looking forward to seeing how the road goes for all of these characters. Beautiful Stranger was a good read.

Review- Beautiful Bitch by Christina Lauren

Summary-

Picking up where Beautiful Bastard left off, Chloe Mills and Bennett Ryan continue their steamy, combative relationship.

Just when Chloe’s career starts to take off, Bennett wishes it would all slow down long enough to spend a wild night alone with his girlfriend. But after he refuses to take no for an answer, Chloe and Bennett find themselves with two plane tickets, one French Villa, and a surprising conversation that, predictably, leaves them wrestling under the covers.

Review-

Beautiful Bitch is a novella in the Beautiful Bastard series by Christina Lauren. This novella is like a follow up to the first couple in the series, Bennett and Chloe. I had found the first book, Beautiful Bastard to be a good enough read so I decided to pick up Beautiful Bitch as well. My feelings towards both the books are quite similar. Beautiful Bitch was good enough.

Bennett and Chloe are now together and have officially been so for sometime. The only problem is that they both have really hectic schedules to maintain and can't find the much needed alone time they want. So Bennett decides to take Chloe for a trip to France. But as fate would have it, the couple is met with a ton of obstacles in their path.

The part I liked best about this novella was how completely open Chloe and Bennett were with each other. They trusted each other and though they still had smokin' hot sex they shared this strong bond between them. Both Chloe and Bennett had some growing up to do since the last book and they both showed a marked improvement in their behaviour.

This book also kind of introduces us to the characters which will show up in the next book which is a full length novel. And I have to say, I am looking forward to reading Beautiful Stranger. Beautiful Bitch was a good addition as a novella to the Beautiful Bastard series.

Review- Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren

Summary-

An ambitious intern. A perfectionist executive. And a whole lot of name calling.

Whip-smart, hardworking, and on her way to an MBA, Chloe Mills has only one problem: her boss, Bennett Ryan. He's exacting, blunt, inconsiderate—and completely irresistible. A Beautiful Bastard.

Bennett has returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family's massive media business. He never expected that the assistant who'd been helping him from abroad was the gorgeous, innocently provocative—completely infuriating—creature he now has to see every day. Despite the rumors, he's never been one for a workplace hookup. But Chloe's so tempting he's willing to bend the rules—or outright smash them—if it means he can have her. All over the office.

As their appetites for one another increase to a breaking point, Bennett and Chloe must decide exactly what they're willing to lose in order to win each other.

Review-

I had heard a lot of things about Beautiful Bastard before starting it. Some good, while others really horrible. But curiosity got the best of me and I kinda had a fascination with all the titles so I decided to go for it. Frankly, I don't regret reading this book. It wasn't great but it wasn't all that bad either.

Our heroine is Chloe. She is an intern on her way to get an MBA. Everything in Chloe's life is going according to plan except for one thing which is her boss, whom she affectionately refers to as BB aka Beautiful Bastard. I found Chloe to be fine. There wasn't anything super special about her but she wasn't a bad heroine either. Chloe was a modern woman who wanted the best in life for her career.

Then we have Bennett, the Beautiful Bastard. Bennett was a hard man to understand in the beginning. Chloe and he shared this total love hate relationship with lots of angry sex. Bennett wanted Chloe with a passion but he hated his feelings and attraction towards her just as much. At least by the end of the book he finally understood his own feelings.

Plainly put Beautiful Bastard is filled with loads of angry sex. There are quite a few back and forth conversations between Chloe and Bennett but they usually ended up in some form or the other of panty ripping. It was kinda silly actually how they were with each other but it still somehow worked.

Christina Lauren are a writer duo and I think for a debut novel Beautiful Bastard is not bad. There was the whole this is a fan fiction thing but if you read the book without any preconceived notions it is quite enjoyable and I have to admit, addictive to a certain degree. All in all, Beautiful Bastard was a good read and I will definitely be reading the rest of the series.
