Review- All The Way by Jennifer Probst

Summary-

And the restaurateur…

Review-

I am a fan of Jennifer Probst. I have read and loved her Marriage To A Billionaire series. You can find my review of The Marriage Bargain here. That's why I was pretty excited to start All The Way. I was disappointed by the book and it turned out to be just an okay read.

Miranda Storme, is a food critic. She never expected to see Gavin Luciano again but she stumbles upon him when she goes to an Italian restaurant which is owned by his family. Gavin broke Miranda's heart three years ago and left Miranda all alone to pick up the pieces. I liked Miranda. She was hurt by Gavin all those years ago so now she always has her walls up. We get to see her side of the story of what happened.

Gavin has worked hard to earn money. He has sacrificed his family, his love and everything else to get where he is now. Yet he is not satisfied. So he takes three months leave to make his family's struggling Italian restaurant a success. What he doesn't expect is the rush of emotions he gets when he sees Miranda. Gavin was the trademark arrogant alpha male. He regretted his actions all those years ago and now he wants Miranda back.

The romance was good but I found things to be repetitive. The story was okay but again I felt that it somehow lacked originality. Maybe its me whose read too much romance but its like I knew exactly what was gonna happen next. It removed the excitement out of the read for me. I was waiting for Jennifer Probst's signature wit and banter but it did not come.

Gavin's family were a good bunch. Andy and Elaine were Miranda's supportive friends. There was a lot of food and music in the book which I enjoyed. My favorite line was the Frank Sinatra one- "Who knows where the road will lead us, but if you let me love you, I'll love you all the way." All the Way was an okay read for me.

  3. This is fun but you always end up reading books that I avoid. I'd never give this one a try just because I know how it goes. I mostly know how it goes in YA books but I still can feel more towards them than adult novels. I'm sorry this book disappointed you but Gavin sounds like a nice character, typical but nice :) Great review :)
