Summary-
This summer, romance blooms again in Wildstone!
After a difficult few years, Tilly Adams is ready for life to start going right. Though she has a case of first day nerves teaching art at the local community college, she knows it isn’t anything a few snuggles from her rescue puppy won’t cure. Until she sees Dylan Scott again, her one time bff and first love sitting in the front row.
Dylan knows he should’ve left well enough alone, but when he sees Tilly living her dream, he can’t help but make contact. Ten years ago, he left Wildstone and everything in it behind, including Tilly. He had his reasons, but now he wants her back in his life, anyway he can get her.
When Tilly agrees to design the logo for Dylan’s new helicopter touring company, it’s business only…until she finds herself falling into his arms once again. Can she possibly open her heart back up to the only man who’s ever broken it? But soon they’re both realizing the truth -- love always deserves a second chance.

Review-
Jill Shalvis' books are absolute comfort reads for me. While I have been in a pretty long reading slump since the past year I have always slowly but steadily managed to actually finish reading a couple of Jill Shalvis books. The Good Luck Sister is a novella in the Wildstone series by Jill Shalvis.
So I was not a huge fan of the first book in this series. As in it was pretty good that way but not as funny or humorous as Shalvis' other books. But that was also the case because this series falls into the women's fiction genre. But the one thing which had caught my interest from the previous book and which managed to stay firmly in my head was Dylan and Tilly's story. The first seeds of their story were sown and I was super excited to read their novella.
So the novella starts off with Tilly teaching art at a community college. She genuinely wants to be an artist but to live a practical life she has to work and earn. Tilly has hard a difficult past as we all know and so she is extremely surprised to see Dylan as one of her students. It is safe to say that things do not go as planned.
Dylan had tried hard to stay away from Tilly but he can't help but make contact with her after all these years. He has just started his helicopter touring company with his buddies and he is finally ready to settle down. Hopefully with Tilly. I liked Dylan as a person. He had his reasons for behaving the way he did and I feel like he only wanted to do the right thing.
Dylan and Tilly had great chemistry. They were best friends first who then fell in love and they shared a strong bond which showed through their interactions. Tilly's dog was extremely cute and protective of her. We also get to see characters from the previous book. Jill Shalvis' writing is easy to read and The Good Luck Sister made for a quick, enjoyable read.
