Review-
The Right Temptation by Diane Escalera was a short steamy read. It wasn't super amazing but it made of a quick read and if you're in the mood for a short romance which gets over in the span of a few minutes The Right Temptation is the book for you.
Kayla Martinez has landed an RN position in a prestigious hospital in her hometown. Her life is completely on track. She worked very hard to get where she is in life now and things seem to be going well for her. Except where her love life is concerned. She hasn't seen her childhood crush in years but when fate collides their paths it is clear that Kayla is still desperately in love with Nico.
Nico breaks his arm while doing a stupid stunt. There he meets Kayla again who is all grown up and beautiful now. He tries to keep his distance because he knows Jesse, Kayla's overprotective brother wouldn't be happy with Nico and Kayla getting close to each other. But Kayla is determined to close the distance between them and play Nurse Seductive.
Kayla and Nico had chemistry. There was all this pent up attraction between the two of them since their teenage years and now it was all just out there. When Kayla and Nico meet again they easily and comfortably fall into each other. The build up was nice and I liked how each one of them stood up for themselves even though the story was highly predictable.
The Right Temptation was a short novella, so it didn't really give you that much time to get invested in the characters. The story was nice and you get a satisfying happy for now ending. If you like reading short novellas or quick reads you could give The Right Temptation a try. It was an okay read for me.
