Feature & Follow Friday #50

Feature and Follow is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read.

Today's question is:

How do you handle a book you don’t like? Do you DNF or do you power through?

My answer:

I usually do power through books and finish them off even if I don't like them. I can think of only 2 books which I have DNFd till date out of the 400+ books I've read. So, yeah, I complete them as quickly as possible and forget about them and hope for a better read the next time :)

What's your answer?

Happy Friday everybody :)

  1. Yeah, I read them too. I hate to leave a book unfinished.

    Have a great weekend.

  2. I also try my best to get through them :)

  3. I usually try to power through too! Even if it kills me!! Hahaha :)

  4. I can't remember precisely how many DNF books I have. Definitely less than 10, possibly even less than 5. So I do a lot of powering through and generally love nearly everything I read. But I've had some that I just couldn't power through no matter how hard I tried.

    Here's my Follow Friday

  5. I haven't DNF'D many, but if I can't get into it, I read slower so then I DNF.

  6. I try really hard not to DNF books but if I absolutely can't get into it by half way through, I will stop just because I have too many other books to read :-) Old bloglovin follower.

  7. Usually I will give a book 50-100 pages before I DNF if I'm not enjoying it. I used to power through but I no longer have the time and it turned reading into a chore. There are too many books on my tbr pile for me to feel guilty and I'm picky about what I read, so only have 1 DNF so far!

  8. I hate to not finish a book. It does happen occasionally though. I always give it my best effort before giving up.
